The Fortnightly Draw Calendar, Explained

The program runs on a fixed rhythm: every Nepali calendar month is split into two entry windows, roughly the first half and the second half, each closing on the 1st and the 16th respectively.

Because the Nepali (Bikram Sambat) calendar doesn't line up neatly with the Gregorian one, those cutoff dates land on a slightly different day in the international calendar each time — usually a day or two either side of the start and middle of the corresponding Gregorian month.

Results for a closed window aren't published instantly; there's a short processing gap before IRD announces winners. The only reliable way to know a result is out is to check prize.ird.gov.np directly, rather than counting days from the cutoff.
