Basic requirements
- You need a personal PAN to be eligible to redeem a prize with IRD — IRDCoupon never collects or stores yours.
- The purchase amount must be more than NPR 100.
- Proof of purchase must be a genuine VAT/PAN invoice (not a handwritten slip or estimate).
- The purchase must be personal/non-commercial, not for business.
✅ Eligible
Grocery/retail purchase
A retail purchase made for personal use qualifies as long as you have a genuine invoice.
Restaurant bill
Personal dining expenses fall in the eligible category, provided you have a genuine VAT/PAN bill.
Clothing/electronics purchase
Purchases made for personal use are eligible.
❌ Excluded — not eligible
Air ticket
Air tickets are explicitly excluded by the operating procedure.
Internet & telephone bill
Internet and telephone bills are excluded from this program.
Electricity bill
Electricity bills are excluded from this program.
Vehicle/freight/transportation bill
Vehicle or freight/transportation service bills fall in the excluded category.
Business/commercial purchase
Purchases for business/commercial purposes are not eligible for this program — only personal purchases qualify.
Bill to a government office
Bills issued to a government or public body are excluded.
