Guide
QR and digital payments
Not every payment method needs manual registration. Payments made via QR or digital means, and purchases at large stores, are usually entered automatically.
Next draw
Bhadra 1, 2083
Draws happen on the 1st and 16th of every Nepali month.
Register your eligible bills before this fortnight closes.
QR/digital payments
When you pay via QR code, a mobile wallet, or another digital method, that transaction's transaction number itself counts as the entry. You don't need to fill out a separate form.
CBMS-connected large stores
Purchases made at large stores/supermarkets connected to the Central Billing Monitoring System (CBMS) are also entered into the system automatically, regardless of payment method.
You don't need to do anything
Because registration happens automatically in the two cases above, you don't need to separately register these bills on prize.ird.gov.np. Still, keep your bill safe — you'll need the original bill if you need to make a claim.
How to be sure?
If in doubt, you can check your bill's transaction details by logging in to your account on prize.ird.gov.np.
